Tryoup × Bilddit: Parts Delivered Straight to the Job

Engineer receiving parts delivered to the job site

Every field-service business loses hours each week the same way: an engineer arrives on site, finds out they're a part short, and disappears off to a merchant to fetch it. That's lost time, lost revenue, and a customer staring at a half-finished job.

We've teamed up with Bilddit to fix it. From inside Tryoup, your team can now order the exact parts a job needs — locks, plumbing fittings, electrical accessories, cleaning consumables, pest control products and heating spares — and have them delivered directly to the customer's address. No detour. No second visit. No lost hour.

What Bilddit brings to the table

Bilddit is a UK trade-supply platform with a deep catalogue across the trades Tryoup serves. They handle the stock, the suppliers and the logistics; we handle the job, the engineer and the customer. Together that means parts move at the speed of the schedule.

How it works inside a job

  1. Open the job in Tryoup — on the engineer's mobile app or from the office.
  2. Search the Bilddit catalogue without leaving the job card.
  3. Add the parts you need. The job address is passed through automatically.
  4. Choose delivery: to the customer's site, to the office, or to a van drop-off point.
  5. The cost lands on the job, ready to be billed with labour on the same invoice.

Which trades benefit

  • Locksmiths — euro cylinders, mortice locks, restricted keys, safe parts.
  • Plumbers — valves, fittings, copper, push-fit, boiler spares.
  • Electricians — consumer units, accessories, cable, testing consumables.
  • Cleaners — bulk chemicals, machine spares, PPE.
  • Pest control — bait, traps, monitoring stations, PPE.
  • Heating engineers — common boiler parts, controls, flue components.

What it changes on the ground

Even one avoided supply run a day per engineer is huge. A 60-minute round trip recovered across a team of six engineers is six billable hours back into the business — every single day. Multiply that across the week and the maths speaks for itself.

And because the order is attached to the job, finance gets a clean record: parts cost, supplier, who ordered, which engineer, which customer. No more receipts in pockets at the end of the month.
